TMC is a, by the Betaalvereniging Nederland (Payments Association Netherlands) certified APSP (Merchant Payment Service Provider) and has been handling processing electronic payments on our parking meters for years. We have made this service available for other payment terminals too. So for all other parking equipment on the street and in parking garages, but also for payment terminals of, for example, retailers.
Twice a month we transfer the full parking transaction amount to your account and we include an elaborate overview. This makes your administration much clearer than receiving hundreds of individual parking transactions from all your terminals. We settle the transaction costs in one go at the end of the month.
As certified APSP, TMC acts as an intermediary between the acceptor (the electronic payment terminal at the parking meter of the municipality) and the acquirer (the bank of municipality). This relieves the bank of the municipality, because it is not necessary to have a separate contract for each payment terminal (parking meter).
To be certified as APSP, the Betaalvereniging Nederland checks, among other things, whether the accounting is impeccable, if the payments to merchants are strictly separate and whether company and industry data from the merchant are listed correctly with every transaction. TMC complies to all rules and regulations and has signed a license agreement.
In order to completely separate the cash flows from our own business cash flows, the 'Mobility funds handling foundation' has been created. Through this foundation TMC periodically pays municipalities their debit card and credit card funds. The payment processes run through well-secured servers, your financial handling is in good hands.
