Cities are warming up to be up-to-date

hardlopers

What do the cities of Almere, Alphen aan den Rijn, Amersfoort, The Hague, Etten-Leur, Hilversum, Katwijk, Leerdam, Maasgouw, Middelburg, Nieuwegein, Sluis, Terneuzen, Texel, Venlo, Westvoorne, Zwijndrecht, the Port Authority of Utrecht and PWN have in common? They are all warming up to be up-to-date soon!

Future-proof

In 2017 we started with the 'Up-to-date' project with future-proof contactless payment, customer-friendly operation and sustainable energy use as a central theme. Together with manufacturer Parkeon – now called Flowbird - we presented a proposal with additional functionality to make parking machines fully future ready, so they can last much longer.

Large purchasing makes it profitable

The offer included the new contactless card reader, highly efficient solar panels, new 4G modems and state-of-the-art color screens. Because of the joint purchase, we were able to arrange a competitive price.

The action was closed on 31 July 2018. Almere, Alphen aan den Rijn, Amersfoort, The Hague, Etten-Leur, Hilversum, Katwijk, Leerdam, Maasgouw, Middelburg, Nieuwegein, Sluis, Terneuzen, Texel, Venlo, Westvoorne, Zwijndrecht, the Port Authority of Utrecht and PWN, among others, can’t wait until their parking meters are state-of-the-art again!
