A parking terminal is an effective tool for regulating parking. Depending on requirements, objectives and budget, TMC offers a range of solutions, such as the installation of future-proof parking terminals or the upgrading of existing parking assets. Clients can also make use of our management systems, ensuring continuous insight into the performance of the parking infrastructure and enabling policy and operational execution to be aligned accordingly. Examples of software upgrades
License plate check: To prevent errors during license plate entry, TMC offers its customers a real-time link to the RDW (Netherlands Vehicle Authority). After the user enters their license plate, the make, model, and color of the vehicle are displayed. If the input is correct, the process continues immediately; if there is a discrepancy, it can be easily corrected. This improves digital accessibility, prevents unjustified parking fines for the driver, and reduces appeal procedures for municipalities.
Rate check: An additional integration with the National Parking Register (NPR) prevents the misuse of progressive pricing or schemes such as 'the first hour free'. This feature supports municipalities in the fair and consistent execution of their parking policies.
Payment terminals for nature and recreation areas
TMC's payment terminals for nature and recreation areas make it simple and efficient to collect mooring fees, camping fees, or entrance tickets. Thanks to the robust housing—identical to that of our parking meters, which have proven their reliability with over 100 customers—combined with software and modular components fully tailored to the customer, the machines always operate exactly as desired.
The terminals are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week—even in remote locations—and relieve site managers of their daily operational burdens.
